- A comment-approval system that allows you to choose whether comments on your notes need to be approved before they are visible.

- A photo gallery that allows you to upload photos so you do not need to use a photo-hosting website.
- A slideshow to showcase some of your best photos.
- A file-upload system so you can store files for people to download such as registration forms or a school physical form.
- A form system that allows you to keep track of registration forms, activity fees, uniforms, and other items that need to be collected.
- A contact information page that lets you store athlete contact information and email them directly.
- An attendance system to keep track of your athlete's practice attendance.

Our philosophy at School Sports Sites is that every sport is unique so every sport's website should be unique as well. Our sports include all of the features above, but each sport also has a number of unique features that you can see below.
Cross Country - Get More Details
A cross country coach's greatest asset is time. More specifically, the times a cross country runner runs are vitally important to assessing how individuals are performing. With that in mind our cross country site includes a number of tools for tracking workouts and runner improvement.
- A pace calculator allows you to calculate the times your cross country runners should run over a given distance based on their race pace. This is essential for letting cross country runners know what time they should shoot for during interval workouts.
The Add New Run function allows you to add routes and runs to keep track of your cross country runners. You can add a route that includes a map as well as an alternative route. You can also specify routes that are used for competition during cross country meets or loops that you use for interval workouts.- The Edit Meet Results function lets you enter results from cross country meets so you can keep track of your runners' times. These results are used to calculate each runner's race pace and create a graph of their results.
- You can view the team's stats to see the race pace, the number of miles run, and the personal records for all of your cross country runners.
- A runner diary is included that allows your cross country runners to sign in to the website and see all of their workouts. They choose which route they ran on a given day to keep track of their miles run. They will also see their mile race pace when they sign in. There is also a comments section where they can write short notes about each run.
Football - Get More Details
Football is full of statistics and School Sports Sites allows you to keep track of all of them across multiple seasons. Your athletes will love being able to see their career stats and college recruiters will love the easy access to your team's stats as well. There are a number of football-specific tools available for your School Sports Site.
The stats for all of your athletes are kept and used to calculate a number of helpful numbers including passer rating (NCAA and NFL), completion percentage, average yards, solo and assisted tackles, and more.- Stats can be viewed by game, season, or career. Athletes can see their career stats by searching for their name on the website.
- The Weight Room lets your athletes keep track of their lifting schedule. You enter the lifts they are allowed to use and they are in charge of keeping track on the website. Athletes can see the lifts they have done every day as well as their best lifts by weight and number of repetitions.
- Coaches can view the daily lifts of any athlete. You can also see a list of all of the athlete's best lifts and sort by name, best lift, or most repetitions.
Generic School Sports Site - Get More Details
A generic School Sports Site contains all of the features described at the top of this page. Generic sites are meant for coaches of sports that do not currently have a unique School Sports Site. When we create a School Sports Site for your sport you can upgrade from the generic version for free.
